Basti, Jan 7 (UNI) Lashing out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati for withdrawing the security cover provided to him, former Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) president Jagdambika Pal today said he was feeling 'hurt' and 'insecure' over the government's move.
''Firstly, Ms Mayawati took back the 'Y' grade security provided to me and later she withdrew two body guards provided to me by the district administration,'' Mr Pal told newsmen here.
''In politics differences do exist, but this step of the CM has 'hurt' me a lot,'' he maintained adding, she was providing security cover to the BSP leaders, having criminal backgrounds.
''I am facing a life threat that has increased further after this move,'' Mr Pal claimed.
The 'Y' grade and district administration security were taken back from Mr Pal on December 12 and December 24 respectively.
