New Delhi, Jan 7 (UNI) The BJP today took exception to the manner in which the Indian cricket team had to face a defeat because of 'bad umpiring' leading to the loss of second cricket test match against Australia at Sydney.
''Everybody in India including the Indian team is upset and the Board of Cricket Control of India must take cognisance of it'', BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy told newspersons. He said India had been opposing racist racism all along and action against the team's spin bowler Harbhajan Singh merely on the basis of a complaint was 'uncalled for'.
He, however, did not respond to a question if the BCCI should recall touring Indian team from Australia. ''We leave it to the sports body to take appropriate decision'', he said.
