Himachal to simplify recruitment process: Dhumal
Hamirpur, Jan 6 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said his government will simplify the recruitment process in the state and prevent job applicants from wasteful expenditure on codal formalities.
Addressing a public gathering at Kakkar in his Bamsan constituency of the district, he said the cumbersome recruitment process to fill various vacancies would be simplified and self attested copies of the applicants entertained until initial screening tests.
Mr Dhumal said the unemployed would not be burdened with heavy application fee and supplying of various documents.
Candidates who clear the screening test would be asked to provide all other related documents at a later stage, he said.
''All recruitments would be carried out in most transparent manner and selection of the anganwari workers and helpers will be done on the basis of applicants' financial background. Efforts to engage needy women will be made,'' he asserted.
The Chief Minister said providing employment to the educated youth was being accorded top priority by his government and efforts would be made to generate self-employment avenues.
