Govt, Oppn gear up for stormy budget session tomorrow
Jammu, Jan 6 (UNI) With the state elections for legislative Assembly nearing, Jammu and Kashmir government is likely to pace a storm budget session here tomorrow, as opposition National Conference and National Panthers Party (NPP) have chalked out strategies to ''expose'' the Congress-PDP coalition on various issues.
Although there is confusion on the post-cabinet expansion between PDP and Congress, but the sources said, ''they will keep differences away to face jointly the Opposition in the Houses (Assembly and Council).'' Sources said both the Congress and PDP MLA's met yesterday separataly to chalk out their strategy for the budget session.
People's Democratic Party MLA's have geared up themselves, especially to counter it's arch rival National Conference at the budget session, they added.
On the other side, where the NC has decided to raise issues related to development, corruption, unemployment, education and price rise, the National Panthers Party said it would expose the government on various issues.
Convening budget session in advance, NPP chairman Prof Bhim Singh said, it is again a mockery after last year's bad experience for the people.
''NPP will come out with very important issues of public interest and expose Mr Clean's (Ghulam Nabi Azad) government before people,'' Prof Singh told mediapersons recently.
