Army barrack FPO, 2 houses gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar Jan 6 (UNI) A Fire broke out at the Army headquarter in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir damaging a barrack housing Field Post Office (FPO), official sources said.
They said the fire emanated from a single storey barrack of 28 Division Army Headquarter, camp Zangl, in Kupwara damaging the FPO.
However the cause of the fire is being ascertained, the sources said.
In another incident house of Ghulam Ahmad Mir was partially damaged in a fire at Gund Hassi Bhat, falling under Parimpora police station here. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, the sources said.
In a similar fire incident the house of Mohammad shaban Mir was partially gutted at Dal Kawpora falling under the Rainawari police station. The cause of fire was due to a shot circuit, the sources added.
