Jet Airways to start Muscat, Doha flights from Jan 23

New Delhi, Jan 5: Jet Airways today became India's first private sector carrier to launch daily direct flights to the Gulf region with direct flight on the Kochi-Kuwait-Kochi and Kochi-Bahrain-Kochi sectors.

The Airlines also started daily direct flights on the Mumbai-Bahrain-Mumbai and Delhi-Kuwait-Delhi sectors from today. Simultaneously, the Airlines also announced its plans to operate daily direct flights to Muscat from Kochi and Kozhikode and Doha from Mumbai and Kozhikode, effective January 23.

With the induction of these new flights, Kozhikode will be the second city in Kerala to be connected by Jet Airways' international services to the Middle East.

Jet Airways' flight 9W 594 (Kochi-Bahrain) will depart Kochi International Airport at 1750 hrs and arrive at Bahrain International Airport at 2000 hrs. Flight 9W 593 (Bahrain-Kochi) will depart Bahrain International Airport at 0845 hrs and arrive at Kochi International Airport at 1630 hrs.

Flight 9W 574 (Kochi-Kuwait) will depart from Kochi International Airport at 1930 hrs and arrive at Kuwait International Airport at 2220 hrs. Flight 9W 573 (Kuwait-Kochi) will depart Kuwait International Airport at 1240 hrs and arrive at Kochi International Airport at 2100 hrs.

Flight 9W 592 (Mumbai-Bahrain) will depart from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0555 hrs and arrive at Bahrain at 0715 hrs. On the return leg, flight 9W 591 (Bahrain-Mumbai) will depart Bahrain International Airport at 2130 hrs and arrive at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0350 hrs.

Flight 9W 572 (Delhi-Kuwait) will depart from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport at 0855 hrs and arrive at Kuwait International Airport at 1110 hrs. On the return leg, flight 9W 571 (Kuwait-Delhi) will depart Kuwait International Airport at 0005 hrs and arrive at IGI Airport at 0625 hrs.

Announcing the launch of these new flights, Executive Vice President (Commercial, Jet Airways) Sudheer Raghavan, said flight 9W 538 (Kozhikode-Muscat) will depart Kozhikode at 0930 hrs and arrive at Muscat's Seeb International Airport at 1135 hrs. Flight 9W 537 (Muscat- Kozhikode) will depart Muscat's Seeb International Airport at 0230 hrs and arrive at Kozhikode at 0800 hrs.

Flight 9W 554 (Kozhikode -Doha) will depart Kozhikode at 2000 hrs and arrive at Doha International Airport at 2200 hrs. Flight 9W 553 (Doha- Kozhikode) will depart Doha International Airport at 1000 hrs and arrive at Kozhikode at 1655 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, 9W 553 will depart Doha International Airport at 1100 hrs and arrive at Kozhikode at 1755 hrs.

Flight 9W 534 (Kochi-Muscat) will depart Kochi at 2250 hrs and arrive at Muscat's Seeb International at 0100 hrs. On the return leg, flight 9W 533 (Muscat-Kochi) will depart Muscat's Seeb International Airport at 1305 hrs and arrive at Kochi International Airport at 1750 hrs.

Flight 9W 552 (Mumbai-Doha) will depart from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0720 hrs and arrive at Doha International Airport at 0825 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, flight 9W 552 will depart Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0840 hrs and arrive at Doha International Airport at 0945 hrs. On the return leg, flight 9W 551 (Doha-Mumbai) will depart Doha International Airport at 2315 hrs and arrive at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0515 hrs.
