Indore, Jan 5 (UNI) BJP spokesperson and former Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudi has alleged that terrorist incidents were on the rise in the country due to the Centre's lax attitude.
Talking to reporters here today, Mr Rudi said Centre's soft stand on terrorism was fuelling violence in Kashmir and remote places posing a danger for the nation.
He claimed that BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government had adopted stringent stand against terrorism and hence as a reaction terrorism attacks took place.
Pointing out that UPA government's security advisor had been admitting that terrorist organisations were investing in stock exchange and immovable property, Mr Rudi said BJP's victory in Gujarat proved that development could attract the people towards the ruling party.
Last year, Assembly elections were held in six states out of which BJP came victorious in three while Congress managed to triumph in Goa only.
About the BJP's defeat in the by-elections in Madhya Pradesh, Mr Rudi stated that introspect in this was required.
