Gwalior, Jan 5 (UNI) Lauding the functioning of the Madhya Pradesh government, BJP President Rajnath Singh today said the BJP will fight next year's Assembly elections in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Mr Singh told reporters here that the government was doing commendable work especially in road and power sectors.
He claimed that Madhya Pradesh would soon join the league of developed states.
On opposition parties raising Mr Chouhan's name in several cases, he said the Chief Minister was an honest and sensitive person.
Regarding recent bypoll defeats, Mr Singh said his party respected the people's verdict and the cause of the defeat would be reviewed.
He claimed that the bypoll defeats would not affect the party's chances in the next year's Assembly elections.
