Armed robbers loot Rs 60,000 from a filling station
Hoshiarpur, Jan 5 (UNI) Armed robbers looted Rs 60,000 from a filling station at Chohal village in this district in the wee hours today.
Police said at least five people in a car came to the filling station and got the vehicle filled with diesel worth Rs 500.
The robbers, equipped with two revolvers, swords and sickle, ordered the attendent to handover the keys of the drawer in which cash was kept.
When he refused, they mercilessly beat him and other employees present there, snatched the keys of the drawer and looted Rs 60,000.
Later they fled in their vehicle.
