Bhopal, Jan 4: Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh will inaugurate a two-day convention of BJP block presidents, general secretaries, district presidents and other state-level office-bearers at Gwalior tomorrow.
''Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will preside over the valedictory session,'' said the party's state Deputy General Secretary (Organisation) Bhagwat Sharan Mathur yesterday.
In view of the BJP's defeat at recent bypolls to the Khargone Lok Sabha seat and Sanver Assembly seat, the convention will discuss the future election strategy and identify the lacunae.
''The event will specially underline the role of workers in view of the present national political perspective. Six sessions will witness discussion on subjects such as workers' conduct and creative role, activity in hustings management, the role of the block unit, creative activity of front cells and the BJP's campaign in every village,'' said Mr Mathur.
