IOA to release Commonwealth Games logo on January 6

New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) The logo of 2010 Delhi Comonwealth Games will be released here on Sunday, exactly 1000 Days before the mega event .

To mark the occassion, Indian Olympic Association(IOA) will hold ''1000 days to go Count Down Run'' from Vijay Chowk at 1530 hrs on January 6.

More than 25,000 entries have already been received from the people from various walks of life which include among others National and International Sports persons.

The Race will be led by prominent sports persons which will include 1000 Arjuna Awardees, Dronacharya Awardees, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Rattan Awardees and other International sports persons in various disciplines.

The Race will conclude at India Gate, where an exhibition will be organised showing the various aspects of the Games including final look of the Stadiums.

The Logo of the game 2010 will be unveiled at India Gate at 5.00 pm.
