Mumbai, Jan 4 (UNI) The British Midlands, the UK government-funded organisation, especially dedicated to attracting international businesses to the region has opened its representative office in the metropolis, for the purpose of attracting investments from Indian companies into the British Midlands.
The British Midlands also has representative offices in North America, Japan, Asia and Europe.
Dr Bryan Jackson, Chairman of the East Midlands Development Agency and Mr John Edwards, Chief Executive of Advantage West Midlands will be present in India from January 7 to attract Indian companies to invest in the region .
Some of the prominent Indian companies that have invested in the British Midlands are Tata Consultancy Services, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank UK, Bank of Baroda and Brunton Shaw UK.
