Kolkata, Jan 4 (UNI) CPI(M) state secretary Biman Bose today alleged that the Opposition was clamouring for industry, but simultaneously opposing land acquisition in the state.
'' We have no intention to destablise the agriculture sector and it is the Opposition which is drawing a line between agriculture and industrialisation. The government has no fund. How will industry come up in the state, '' Mr Bose told newspersons at the CITU office here.
The Opposition was in favour of industry, but at the same breath was opposing land acquisition, he said and asked them to make it clear as to where the industry should come up.
He also asked whether it was possible to set up industry atop Susunia hill in Bankura or Joychandi hill in Purulia.
He alleged that the Opposition was trying to dismantle the conducive industrial atmosphere in the state.
Referring to Balagarh byelection result, he said the party would review the decrease of votes in the area.
