72 countries to participate in International Trade Fair
Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) The second mega International Trade Fair 2008, organised by the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO), is expected to showcase multi dimensional business activities from about 72 countries.
The fair was inaugurated by former Housing Minister Sureshdada Jain at the Mumbai Exhibition Ground, NSE complex, here today.
Countries like US, UK, France and Russia are participating in this four-day-long fair. Alongwith the fair, the third international Conference of Jain businessmen and industrialists is also being organised.
''There is no second opinion on the fact that unity among the Jain community is a must. It should be the endeavour of the community that each of its members should be economically strong,'' Mr Jain said, while addressing the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, JITO President Hemant Shah urged the community to grow economically, in such a manner that each Jain child should be in a position to provide employment to atleast 1,000 people.
The organisers are also of the opinion that nearly one million visitors are likely to throng the unique event, which seeks to bring together the entire community from across the globe on one platform.
The event provides a tremendous opportunity for the Jain entrepreneurs to display their products and services.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel, Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat are also expected to attend the International conference, besides a host of other dignitaries from India and abroad.
JITO is a worldwide organisation of Jain businessmen, industrialists, knowledge workers and professionals.
