SAD-BJP alliance committed to governance as per the law: CM
Ludhiana, Jan 2 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today said that his government was committed to provide governance as per the law.
In a special message sent through H S Mattewal, Advocate General Punjab to the newly-elected Bar Association Ludhiana, the Chief Minister said he had great respect for the Judiciary and Law practicing Community and sought their cooperation for ensuring speedy justice to the people of the state.
The Chief Minster also expressed his commitment to redress the problems of the lawyers in the state and announced a grant of Rs 20 lakh for District Bar Association (DBA).
At the first function organised by newly-elected District Bar Association, Jails Minister Hira Singh Gabria, Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Sat Pal Gosian, MP Sharanjit Singh Dhillon and Harish Rai Dhanda CPS also announce grant of Rs 10 lakh each for the DBA to facilitate the construction of Bar Chambers for remaining Lawyers in Judicial Courts Complex.
