Hero Honda sales cross 33 lakhs in 2007
Mumbai, Jan 2 (UNI) Two-wheeler market leader Hero Honda has reported cumulative sales of 33,09,051 units of two-wheelers during January-December 2007.
The figure is 55,752 more than the 2006 figure which stood at 32,53,229.
In December alone, the company shifted 240,532 units compared to 252,462 units for the corresponding period in 2006, stated a release.
The company has attributed its performance to its ''multi-focal strategy of bringing in new products across segments, extensive communication, brand building and augmentation of its distribution network''.
The company had launched a number of models including the ''Hunk'' and ''CBZ-Extreme'' among others and associated with the country's youth by tying up with the German hard rock band, Scorpion's tour of India and the ''Hero Honda Campus Rock Idols'', the release added.
