Dalai Lama lauds Centre for assistance to Tibetan refugees
Hubli, Jan 2 (UNI) Tibetan leader the Dalai Lama, today expressed his gratitude to the Indian Government for rendering assistance to the Tibetan refugees and also for providing employment to the youth.
The Dalai Lama, who was on a 15-day visit to Mundgod Tibetan Centre, near here, lauded the assistance of the Central Government to the needy refugees.
He said he would train 10,000 monks in Buddhism during his stay at the Centre.
About 25,000 monks and disciples welcomed Dalai Lama on his arrival.
