Year
holidays,
Interfax
news
agency
reported
today.
A total of 1,084 fires were reported across Russia over the past 24 hours, in which 181 people were killed, 698 injured and 517 rescued, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry told the agency. Nine hundred and sixty fires were reported in the two days before New Year's holidays, in which 134 people were killed, 255 injured and 121 rescued, the Ministry said.
