Bangalore, Jan 2 (UNI) Police have arrested 12 people and recovered stolen properties, worth over Rs 62 lakh, in the city.
Talking to newspersons here today, Commissioner of Police Neelam Achuta Rao said the stolen properties, included 34 laptops, 55 mobiles, a country-made revolver with live bullets, Rs three lakh in cash and six luxury cars.
He said 26-year-old Boralingaiah alias Bora alias Rajesh was arrested on December 31 night while attempting to commit burglary at a house.
The laptops were recovered from him.
He said Manohar and his associate Ravi were arrested following an information that the duo sold luxury cars with forged documents.
Eight cars, Rs three lakh and jewellery worth over Rs 2.75 lakh were seized from them.
Mr Rao said with the arrest of 12 people, the police had solved 22 cases of robbery and cheating.
