Una legislator to give priority to Health, education, roads
Una, Jan 1 (UNI) Una BJP legislator Satpal Singh Satti today said health, education and road network will be his main priorities during the next five years.
Talking to mediapersons here, he said since Una was the entry point of the state, it needs to be developed as a model constituency.
Mr Singh said corruption would not be tolerated at any cost.
He charged that during the last five years, the Congress government had adopted oppressive tactics and had maintained an anti-poor stance.
He said the BJP would give justice to the common man.
The state was in a debt trap to the tune of over Rs 25,000 crore, he said, while expressing hope that efficient administration by Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and his cordial relations with the Centre would enable the government to tide over the financial crises.
The Una legislator said road by-pass, public toilets, construction of government offices and widening of the municipal park in the town would also receive the attention of the state government.
