More than 1.5 lakh voters names to be delated in Gulbarga

Gulbarga, Jan 1 (UNI) The names of more than 1.5 lakh voters would be deleted from the voters list in the District due to various reasons, Deputy Commissioner Pankajkumar Pandey said today.

Addressing a press conference here, he said that out of 25.78 lakh voters in 13 Assembly constituencies in the District, 74.400 voters have shifted to various places and 67,836 voters died.

He said that Chief Election Observer Naresh Gupata had conducted a review meeting a couple of weeks ago. The new voters list with deletions and including would be made ready with in a week's time.
