Kannada meet planned at New Delhi in April

A
two-day
national
conference
of
Kannada
speaking
people
will
be
held
in
New
Delhi
from
April
5.
The 25th meet includes seminars on Kannada language, literature, cutlure, poet meet, women festival and inter-state harmony.
More than 2000 delegates including writers, artists, academicians and representatives of Kannada associations from all over the country will take part in the conference.
The purpose of the meet is to seek more recognition to Kannada and its culture at the national level.
The conference is being organised by Delhi Kannadiga, a monthly magazine published from New Delhi, a press note said here today.
