Bardhan favours early restoration of democracy in Pakistan
Alwar, Jan 1 (UNI) Favouring restoration of democracy in Pakistan, CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan today expressed hope that the election process in the neighbouring country would take its due course and would be held as per schedule.
Talking to reproters here, Mr Bardhan said all political parties in the country had expressed their readiness to go to the polls as per schedule and announcement to this effect had helped in abatement in violence.
He said this showed that the people of Pakistan were favouring early elections and was a good signal for stability in the country.
Strengthening of democracy in Pakistan would have positive impact on India's affairs and would help us in curbing terrorism effectively.
