SAD (B) reiterates commitment for welfare of people

Chandigarh, Dec 31 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal Working President Sukhbir Singh Badal today felicitated the people of Punjab on the eve of New Year and reiterated his Party's firm commitment for the welfare of people and overall development and growth of the state.

In a message on this occasion, Mr Sukhbir Badal wished the Punjabis living all over India and abroad a very happy and prosperous New Year, 2008.

The SAD working president also expressed hope that with the pro-people polices and programmes of SAD-BJP Government the state would reach the zenith of glory and prosperity in the coming years.

He also sought the cooperation and support from the people of Punjab to realize the vision of modern, progressive Punjab in which all the Punjabis could lead a life of dignity and self-respect.
