Tiruchirappali, Dec 31 (UNI) The Pattali Makkal Katchi's (PMK) Youth Wing will organise a massive sapling planting programme in Tamil Nadu next month.
About 10,000 youth wing activists would undertake the planting programme and a rally would be organised in Chennai to mark the completion of the programme during the last week of January, PMK State Youth Wing Secretary T Arivuselvan told newspersons here yesterday.
He said Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Anbumani Ramadass would participate in the rally.
Stating that the youth wing would not hesitate to point out the mistakes of the DMK government, Mr Arivuselvan expressed concern over the improper distribution of montly maternal assistance of Rs 1,000 to eligible pregnant women.
He urged Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to look into this issue and do the needful.
