PMK demands White Paper on Govt Medical College issue

Puducherry,Dec 31(UNI) Pattali Makkal Katchi(PMK) Parliamentary party leader M Ramadass today demanded a White Paper on the Government Medical College issue from the Government.

Speaking in a function organised by the Federation of Panchayat Presidents Associations here this evening, Prof Ramadass alleged that of late, several charges were coming up against the Puducherry Government, especially on the medical college issue.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy, should come out with a White Paper, recording all issues, pertaining to the efforts made to set up the college.

Earlier, the meeting adopted resolutions, seeking the Government to earmark seperate allocation for the local bodies in the annual budget and out of which, 40 per cent for village panchayats.
