Lt Gen Sisodia is new DG of Ordnance Services

New Delhi, Dec 31 (UNI)Lt General Bharat Singh Sisodia today took over as Director General Ordnance Services at the Army headquarter here.

He replaced Lt Gen DDS Sandhu, who retired today, a Defence Ministry statement said.

Commissioned in the Army Ordnance Corps on December 20, 1970, he has served in the Military Secretary's Branch at Army Headquarters and as a Brigadier, commanded Central Ordnance Depot here. He had also been been Brigadier Administration at Army War College, Mhow.

For his outstanding contribution, he was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal while serving at Mhow.

As a Major General, he functioned as Additional Director General Ordnance Services (technical stores) and Major General Army Ordnance Corps at Western Command Headquarters before he took over as Commandant, College of Materials Management, Jabalpur, the statement added.
