Hyderabad, Dec 30 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President and former Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today said the TRS would not field a candidate in the Khariatabad Assembly constituency, which senior Congress leader P Janardhan Reddy who died of heart attack on Friday represented.
Talking to newspersons here, he said TRS would urge for unanimous election of the leader's son or his relatives in the bye-election.
Mr Rao said TRS would support the Congress, if they evolve a consensus on the candidate. Every party should recognise the service of Mr Janardhan and elect the candidate unanimously, he added.
Predicting that the Coalition Government would be formed at Centre after 2009 General elections, the TRS supremo said the party would fight alone in the election. TRS would take a decision on joinging the Government after studying the post-election scenario, he added.
Releasing a new year diary, published by Telangana Regional Teachers Union at the party head office, Mr Rao said 'State Public Schools' would be set up in Telangana immediately after the formation of the State.
The concept was to admit all Below Poverty Line children in the schools being set up at all mandals, where quality education would be provided to them at free of cost, he added.
