Son blames father's decision
Kannur, Dec 30 (UNI) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Kerala President K Muraleedharan today alleged that the Congress Party's invitation to Mr K Karunakaran was becasue of the NCP's wide acceptance and its victory in the panchayat elections in Lakshadweep.
Inaugurating the party's district convention meeting here, he said '' Mr Karunakaran took the decision of returning to the parent party because of brain washing by some of his followers.'' He alleged that Congress President Sonia Gandhi had no knowledge about the idology and tradition of the Congress.
He also said the Congress President had not yet invited Mr Karunakaran to Delhi, and he went there following a call from Mohsina Kidwai, who is the incharge of Kerala affairs.
