Raipur, Dec 30 (UNI) Communist Party of India MP Gurudas Dasgupta today said that Chhattisgarh's anti-insurgency campaign Salwa Judum would not end naxalism but lead to civil war.
''The state government's strategy to end rebellion through Salwa Judum has proved unsuccessful. Extremism could be solved only through eliminating poverty, unemployment and starvation.
Governments should fight poverty if they want to combat ultras. They should spend on stamping out poverty instead of purchasing bullets,'' he told journalists here.
