Rain or snow likely in Himachal Pradesh, JK

Pune, Dec 30 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Lakshadweep.

Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Kutch and at isolated places in Punjab.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and in remaining parts of Haryana, Saurashtra and Kutch and were below normal in some parts of West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and in south Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Marathwada, Vidarbha and interior Karnataka and were above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, south Madhya Maharashtra, Chattisgarh, coastal Karnataka and in remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh and interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.
