Mystery shrouds death of two women in J

Jammu, Dec 30 (UNI) Two women were found dead in mysterious circumstances near Belicharana area in the city outskirts of Jammu and Kashmir, police here said today.

The police said bodies of two women, who were close friends and neighbours, were found at the residence of one of the deceased this morning in Lower Belicharana near Satwari, some 10 km from here.

''We received an information about the deaths and immediately rushed to the spot. No marks of injury or wounds were found on either of the bodies,'' Superintendent of Police (South) Zahid Manhas told UNI.

He said both the women last night stayed in the same house and were found dead in the morning. ''We have started the investigations as the reason behind this incident is yet to be ascertained,'' Mr Manhas said, adding that the bodies had been sent for the postmortem.

The deceased have been identified as Amrita (40) and Babli (22).
