New Delhi, Dec 29 (UNI) High profile Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today called on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and other BJP leaders here to seek their blessings and views on the expansion of his Cabinet.
The Gujarat Chief Minister also met Leader of Opposition L K Advani and BJP President Rajnath Singh at their residences and sought their blessings.
Mr Modi, whose stocks in political circles and the party has gone up after his dramatic electoral victory, divulged very little about his meetings. He said he was here to seek the blessings of Mr Vajpayee and other leaders and elicit their views on the composition of his Cabinet.
A party spokesman meanwhile said, the meetings were courtesy calls on the party leaders after his spectacular victory in the recently concluded Gujarat Assembly elections, where he romped home with near two-third majority in the 182 member-House.
Mr Modi later left for Gandhinagar.
