Indore, Dec 29 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party vice-president Vikram Verma today said analysis was underway into the party's defeat in two recent bypolls in Madhya Pradesh so that mistakes were not repeated.

''Besides finding out the reasons, grassroots-level workers' views will be solicited and on that basis a strategy determined for assembly elections scheduled next year,'' he told UNI.

The ruling BJP bit the dust at bypolls to the Khargone Lok Sabha seat and Sanver Assembly seat.

Referring to the saffron party's victory at the hustings in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat, Mr Verma said, ''it was an indicator that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will form a government after the next general elections. There is no difference of opinion among NDA constituents. If a few parties are leaving the Alliance others are joining it.'' UNI
