11 kg RDX, explosives recovered in UP's naxal belt
Lucknow, Dec 29 (UNI) In a major combing operation in the naxalite affected Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh today, security forces recovered 11 kilograms of RDX and huge amount of explosives.
According to police other explosives seized during the operation includes 176 gelatin rods, ten bundle of fuse wire, ten container bombs, one pistol, some dry cell and Naxalite literature.
The joint operation of the UP-Bihar police and CRPF in the Lekorela jungle under Mochi police station area was still going on but no person has been arrested so far.
Sources said the jungle was situated in the triangle bordering UP, Bihar and Jharkhand.
