Imphal, Dec 28 (UNI) The Manipur Congress President, Gaikhangam, today ruled out any differences within the party.
Addressing the 122nd foundation day of the party, Mr Gaikhangam said other political parties should not reflect their views about the Congress party.
The party in Manipur has been facing crisis for the last two months as some legislators have demanded ouster of Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh for alleged failure to control the law and order problem.
Mr Gaikhangam said the people have given their mandate for the party as the Congress has won 31 seats in the 60-member assembly.
''The government should not forget what they have promised to the people during the election time,'' he reminded the Ministers and legislators.
''This is the time for self introspection,'' he said, adding the government should try to work more in the interest of the people.
