Puducherry, Dec 28 (UNI) To impart fresh impetus to the party here, the BJP today dissolved all its posts, barring the state president and general secretary.
Addressing a press conference, BJP State President M Visweswaran said the posts were dissolved to give youth a chance and accommodate them in key posts.
All the posts would be reconstituted in consultation with the party high command.
Mr Visweswaran demanded that the administration should come out with a white paper on the money received by it towards tsunami relief and rehabilitation.
He wondered why the administration was reluctant to implement the Goondas Act even after the senior police officials had demanded it.
Referring to the party's victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, he said the party stood a chance to capture power in Karnataka in the coming Assembly elections.
The party would strengthen its base in Union Territory as the chances were bright for it to come to power here, he added.
