Goa, Dec 25, 2007 : Activists in India's coastal tourist hub Goa have asked tourists to leave by December 28th as they threatened to intensify a month-long agitation against a slew of low tax Special Economic Zones (SEZs) being set up in the region.

The agitation by the Goa Movement Against SEZs, GMAS, a group that has the support of NGOs and political parties including main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party, could spoil Goa's famed Christmas and New Year bash.
