federal
government
on
December
25th
to
permit
controversial
Bangladeshi
writer
Taslima
Nasreen
to
stay
in
India's
eastern
West
Bengal
state,
if
she
is
given
adequate
security
cover.
Nasreen, whose presence in India sparked riots had said on December 20th that New Delhi was forcing her to live under virtual house arrest and appealed for more freedom.
