Student killed, two HM militants arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar Dec 27 (UNI) A First- year Arts student was killed by unidentified gunmen while two Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants were arrested in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said.

They said the gunmen shot dead Mehraj-ud-Din Rather, resident of Anchanderhama, Magam at Palhalan Pattan in Baramulla district.

Police conducted a search operation at Anantnag in south Kashmir today during which two HM militants, Nazir Ahmad Dar and Feroz Ahmad Zargar, were arrested alongwith some arms and ammunition.
