Man plans to buy airport, creates flutter
Chennai, Dec 27 (UNI) A 45-year-old man created a flutter at the Anna international airport here, when he tried to force entry into the airport this evening.
Police said the man, clad in a dhoti and shirt, was stopped by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel and handed over to the airport police.
The man, who appeared to be mentally deranged, gave contradictory replies and even told the police that he came here to have a look at the airport, which he was planning to buy.
Later, the police handed him over to Banyan, an NGO, taking care of mentally retarded people.
However, an investigation was on to ascertain whether the person was really mentally ill or acting so to avert police action.
