Bangalore, Dec 27 (UNI) The UPA government will brief the Left parties about the outcome of India's talks with International Atomic for Energy Agency (IAEA) on India-specific nuclear arrangements before arriving at a final conclusion, External Affairs Minister Pranab Kumar Mukherjee said here today.

Speaking to newspersons on the sidelines of the 80th conference of Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahithya Sammelan, he said, "Currently we are engaged in discussions with IAEA. As decided earlier we will meet the Left again and come out with the agreed text once we finalise the India-specific nuclear arrangements with IAEA," he said.

The UPA government had formed a co-ordination committee headed by Mr Mukherjee himself on Indo-U.S nuclear deal, after left parties raised serious objections on the issue and threatened to withdraw their support.

The Indian government is currently holding negotiations with IAEA on the nuclear deal which was signed with United States despite stiff opposition by the Left parties which are extending outside support the UPA government survives at the center.
