BSF on high alert after Bhuto's assassination
Jaisalmer, Dec 27 (UNI) The Border Security Force (BSF) deployed along the Indo Pak Border has been put on high alert in view of assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and terror strike on Nawaz Sharif's rally in the neighbouring country.
A BSF Spokesman told UNI that the security personnel had been asked to be extra vigilant against possibility of increase in infiltration attempts by ultras and/or terror stricken people from accross the border and deal appropriately with the situation.
However, no unusual activities were noticed on other side of the zero line and the directives of high alert were issued as a precautionary measure, the spokesman added.
