New Delhi, Dec 27 (UNI) The three-day National Executive of the BJP, which is likely to commence on January 27, may have Bangalore as its venue, party spokesman Prakash Javadekar said.

Mr Javadekar said the party had earlier decided that the meeting would be held in Delhi but was now thinking of shifting the venue. A decision to this effect will be taken by tomorrow evening after the leadership discussed the meeting logistics.

The Executive would be on the opening day while the National Council meetings will be held on January 28 and 29.

The party, among other things, would consider the results of elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh besides formalising its strategy in future electoral challenges in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh with a special emphasis on Karnataka where the party could not make it to power despite the swearing-in of Mr Yeddiyurappa as the Chief Minister in November, he said.

Mr Javadekhar said the BJP would also amend the party constitution to make way for 33 per cent reservation to women. The BJP had accepted the report of the committee led by the party's senior leader Sushma Swaraj to this effect in the last Executive in Bhopal.
