Tirumala devotees fined for ticketless travelling
Tirupati, Dec 26 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) today apprehended nearly 200 ticketless passengers travelling in Narayanadri Express and imposed a fine of Rs 43,450.
According to railway sources here, the passengers, who arrived here from Secunderabad this morning, were caught redhanded during a routine check by the TTIs.
All of them belonged to a group from Maharashtra and were here to offer worship at the Lord Venkateswara temple, the sources added.
