Mumbai, Dec 26 (UNI) Spanco Telesystems and Solutions venture- Spanco BPO has set up two 2,200 seat flagship customer support centres in the city and in Gurgaon to provide back office and contact centre services to domestic clients.
The new centres will handle customers in financial services, insurance, telecom, entertainment, retail and hospitality sectors, a company release stated.
The company also plans to invest more than Rs 400 crore over the next two years and set up facilities in Chennai, Jaipur, Mysore, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Noida. It also aims to increase the capacity to 15,000 seats with over 25,000 employees by 2009.
As per NASSCOM figures, the domestic BPO industry is worth USD 2 billion and is growing at 60 per cent CAGR over the last 4-5 years, the release added.
