Sikh Com urges Akal Takht to issue 'hukumnama' on calendar photos

New Delhi, Dec 26 (UNI) The Shiromani Gurudwara Sewadar Committee today appealed to the Akal Takht to issue a directive to ban printing of calendars, newspapers, magazines and diaries with photos of Gurus and other religious leaders.

The Committee urged the Akal Takht to issue the 'hukamnama' so that after use these are not dishonoured.

It also appealed to all Sikhs to celebrate the Guru Purab of Chhotey Sahibzade Sahib by guiding their children to keep away from drugs and inculcating in them good habits.
