Kochi, Dec 26 (UNI) More than 1,000 delegates from across the country will participate in the two-day National CA Students' Convention here from Friday.
Organised by the Board of Studies of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Ernakulam Branch of the Southern India CA Students' Association (SICASA) of ICAI, the convention would feature technical sessions on tax planning for individuals, firms and corporates, corporate governance, use of information technology in internal audit and practical issues in taxation of goods and services, SICASA Branch Chairman Vivek Krishna Govind told reporters today.
The convention will be inaugurated by retired Supreme Court Judge M Fathima Beevi. Kerala Finance Minister Thomas Issac will be the guest of honour at the valedictory session.
The session will be addressed by the eminent chartered accountants like R Bupathy, Dr Vinod K Singhania, Venugopal C Govind, Saravana Prasath and P Rajendra Kumar.
