Gemini, Midas in agreement for BSNL's 260 crore project

New Delhi, Dec 26 (UNI) Chennai-based networking solutions provider Gemini Communication Ltd today said it has entered into an agreement with Midas Communication Technologies Pvt Ltd to execute a broadband Project for BSNL worth Rs 260 crore.

The EDWAS (Broadband corDECT) Project will be executed in phases in the states of Tamii Nadu, Karnataka and Haryana. The phase-I of the order will be executed in Tamil Nadu to the tune of Rs 50 crore, a company release said.

According to the agreement, the technology developed by Midas has to be implemented and deployed by Gemini within the total time schedule of 150 days.
