Jaipur, Dec 26 (UNI) AICC General Secretary and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot termed Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's reshuffling of the Cabinet a desperate bid to present a brave face before the people and added that the move was unlikely to save her government in the assembly elections next year.

Mr Gehlot said in his statement that the assembly polls were just ten months away and the Chief Minister was making all efforts to retain power for a second term.

However, her hopes were unlikely to be realised as the people, unhappy with her ''misrule and rising corruption and crimes'', were all prepared to vote out the BJP.

Reacting over the claims of the BJP leaders about repeatation of Gujarat like feat in Rajasthan, the Congress leader said the political scenario and equations in Gujarat and Rajasthan were different and fall of this government was eminent in the next assembly election.
